If you want to become a writer, learn to self-publish, then there is nothing stopping you, except you. All you need is internet connection and a writing software. You do not need to spend hundred or thousands of dollars to get published. I publish and am debt free. So think before you spend.

Your dream could and can become a reality within a month.
1. Write a Short Story, at least 5,000 words long.
2. Go to Kindle Direct Publishing Create An Account
3. Follow the steps.
4. Create Your Cover with their Cover Converter
5. Up Load your file.
6. Hit Publish
If it is formatted right, you will then be published within 48 hours and can start promoting your E-Book
KDP will walk you though the steps. It is a bit time consuming to learn to format your file, but once you learn it,,,,you are well on your way to a publishing career. Don't pay someone to this for you, because you can do this. Write-Publish on your schedule and what you want to write.
