I Should Be Writing

 

I should be writing.  I need to stay off FaceBook and Youtube, I get lost on the FaceBook Groups on chickens.  I am a dog person.  I moved out in the country and ended up with Chickens instead.  Which is good to have if you want to live off the land.  Chickens are hearty.  They lay eggs naturally and then I just go and collect them.  I know this is a writing blog, but the book I am writing, is about A Crazy Chicken Lady.  It is loosely based on my life on the chicken farm, since I don't like the outdoors at all.  I like staying inside.  If I never left the house, I would be fine with that, but now I have to get up early to let the chickens out and make sure I go to bed at a reasonable hour, so I can get  up early to let them out. 

So when I let the chickens out and they are watered and fed, I should turn the computer on and start writing, well....

I did turn the computer on and then went on FaceBook.  But I have the rest of the day to write.  So 

Today is Day 4 of nothing to do but to write.

Day 3 was a Sunday.  I did not get much writing done and I don't have an excuse.  I watched Church on TV in the morning and then in the afternoon I watched Church on-line and then I just watched TV.  I did blog and write in my journal and that was about it.

Day 4:  It is Monday.  I have been on Facebook for the past hour.  After I blog I am going to work on my book or it will never get finished.  Wish me luck.

Don't feel guilty if you don't write everyday.  It is not the end of the world.

Well, we are living in the last days before the Rapture when Jesus returns.

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK

Don't Be Scammed

This is my number one pet peeve on being self published.  There are people, website, and courses out there, that want your money. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEND! There are websites out there that will charge you for services that you can learn to do yourself.  If you don't want to learn these things that is fine, pay for it.  But if the reason that you are paying for services is because you don't t think you can, you are totally wrong. I have said this before and I am saying it again.  I knew nothing when I started in 2011,  I had a computer.  I had no idea how to send a file via e-mail. I had no idea what to do one I got the file back from the formatter.  How do I get it uploaded on Amazon.  I had no idea that I had more than one drive on the computer.  I downloaded a file and had no idea where it went. If you are thinking that you can not learn this.  I am proof you can learn if you set your mind to it and are willing to learn. Don't...
