Write Everyday.
You hear that all the time. You go to writer's conference's they say "Write Everyday"
You read books on writing, they write, "Write everyday."
That is great advice, when you are on a schedule.
I quit my job to write and blog. I like blogging. So I blog. I have another Blog
So I do write everyday.
That does not mean that I am productive. I write in notebooks, on the computer and on my blogs.
This week not so much on my book. Why? I just didn't feel like it. I don't have a reason,
I went on Facebook to promote my books, I got distracted for about 2 hours scrolling on Facebook. Time I could of been writing.
So I need to stay off Facebook.
Then I have to go and check chickens for eggs.
Then my boyfriend wants to watch a movie with me.
Then I have to go check for eggs.
Then, I just am tired.
I am sure we all do this.
We know we should be writing, but hey, there is always something that is begging for our attention.
A schedule is the only way you will get the book written.
I turn my computer on first thing when I get up. I plan to write. I get side track if I turn the wifi on. Then I start googling things and two hours later, I realize I didn't write.
So this week, I haven't been working on my book. I have blogged. I have been at the computer for at least two hours a day, but scrolling on Facebook won't get my book written or googling won't get my book written.
So today, I am going to work on my book.
We all have excuses not to write.
What is your number one excuse not to write???
