Weekly Update

This 4 Book Series has been brewing in my head since the beginning of the year, I was writing The Cross before I quit my job and published it after I quit my job.  Then I had another book idea, but I also wanted to Blog as I read the Bible this year.

So the Series was brewing in my head.  Now it is screaming to get out.

I wrote Book 1.  I had a rough draft finished, just had to be reworked, edit and then published.  Then the question nagged at me.  How is each book connected???
I want each book to be a stand alone book, each book will be years apart.  How will I connect the books.

This morning it was 3 am I woke up and the idea came to me like a bolt of lighting.  I had a small notebook next to me I scribbled down the idea.  One item will connect each book, like it is being passed forward to the next characters.  I have no idea where the idea came from.

Just like I have no idea how I wrote, 18,000 words this week, not including today.  I will surpass the 20,000 word make in one week.  I never have none this before ever.

The book is in my head.  I am totally rewriting Book 1.  Characters are the same, idea is the same, but is so much better.

Do I feel bad that I have to ditch my first rough draft and start all over?  Nope,  I am excited I want to write.

I also purchased a new flash drive.  I made a file for each book, so I can work on any of the 4 books I want to.  I will never have writers block.  I got an idea for book 4, I just typed into my file on book 4

I also visualize myself holding all 4 books in paperbacks next year.

I can see the ending to the beginning.

I wrote 20,000 words this week,

My goal for next week in to finish the rough draft.
come back to my blog for the updates as I write a 4 Book Series.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Instead, I write.  I might not write 2,000 words everyday.  What I do everyday is, I write.  I write and it might only be 100 words, but I wrote something. I blog and I consider that writing.  I have people come to my blog everyday.  People are reading what I write, like you are reading what I have written, therefore I am a writer.   I know that it is lonely sometimes and you wonder why bother.  I write to live.  I can not write. You can be a self-published writer in less than a mont...
