Writing Update: Word Count VS Page Count

In the past 4 days I have written 11,000 words which is 23 pages singled space.
As I am writing this week, I am just writing, I have no goal really but am more concern about my page count rather than word count.

I can write 1,000 words on anything, an idea, the book I am writing or just write in longhand, but that is not going to get my book written, so I am concentrating on Page Count.  Today I am on page 24, Chapter 4 single spacing.

The past three days I have been sitting in my recliner, in front of the TV watching Sharkfest.  I have tv on for noise and I just sit and type, for 2-3 hours.  I have written 11,000 words just this week which is good for me.  If I keep this up, I will have the rough draft done within 30 days,

The book is in my head, I just have to get it on paper and that is what I am doing.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Writing Everyday

I am in awe of people who can write everyday.  I have heard that for years.  Write Everyday, even if it is just one word, one sentence or 1,000 words. I believe it.  Writer's write.  It is that simple. There are people on Facebook, posting their word count.  I am in awe of those people. I try to write everyday, but it does not always work out that way for me. I guess what I am trying to say, it that don't feel bad if you don't write for one day.  You are still a writer. I know that this is NANO month and you are suppose to write everyday and at the end of the month, have written 50,000 words.  Which is awesome.  The way I am going, I am not going to make it.  I have no excuse but I have headaches everyday and I mean everyday.  Some days are better than others.  A lot of the headaches are sinus headaches.  I am not using this as an excuse.  I know that others have worse problems in their lives. So if you are a...
