Enter a Contest

Entering a contest is a good way to meet a dead line, polish something to get it ready to publish and to send it out.    No matter what genre you write, there are contests out there.

I just wrote a short story yesterday for The Writer's Digest Writing Competition

I also entered another contest last year, called Short Short Story.

You need to have a goal, see the finish line and complete your story and a contest is a good way to do it.

 November 11, 2023 I am Half Way!!! I AM WRITING PAGE 500 TODAY!!! SO EXCITED!!!!! ALSO I HAVE 50 MORE PAGES TO WRITE, BY NOVEMBER 23, 2023....THEN I WILL HAVE WRITTEN 1,000 PAGES IN ONE YEAR!!!!! WRITING UPDATE: NEW MONTH

 LAST MONTH OF SUMMER....AUGUST....ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN....WINTER WILL BE HERE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT AUGUST 1ST....I WROTE 8 PAGES.....LAST MONTH....JULY.....I ENDED WITH .....241 PAGES I THINK THAT IS PRETTY GOOD....SO I AM MOVING ALONG....REWRITING MY 1,000 PAGE NOVEL LOTS OF WORLD BUILDING.....A LITTLE BIT OF RESEARCH.......SO IT IS GOING PRETTY WELL.
