Includes my writing schedule on how I wrote-edit and published monthly and published over 50 E-Books on Amazon Self-Publishing has never been this easy.  Order Today!

In the post on 3/14/19 Write An E-Book In A Week, I talked about writing a short non-fiction book.

I have been working on that book since then.  I would get up and work on it first thing for 3-4 hours in the morning, before I did anything else.

I thought it was going to be a short e-book. I added more content.   I have about 50 pages and around 10,000 words.

It is finished and am sending it to my editor.

It was easy to write, since the entire content was in my head, I just had to sit down and write.

That is the key to writing and publishing, even though you probably have heard that a thousand times.  I know I have.  I went to writer's conferences and they would say, "Sit your butt in the chair and write."  So true.

I have been also writing a 90 Day Devotional.  So, since I was going to send a copy (my editor prefers a hard copy)  I decided to finish this Devotional and get them both edited and published at the same time.

This entire week I have been busy, finishing up  on these 2 non-fiction books.

While I am waiting for them to come back from the editor, I will be busy with the book covers and setting everything on Amazon

As I do this, I will be here blogging telling you what I am doing.

So get that manuscript ready.  You can self-publish your book as I walk you through it.

No need to spend hundreds of dollars to self-publish, I will tell you everything I am doing and soon you will be holding a book of your own.

Createspace merged with Amazon, so when it comes to print book, (which I am going to make both books into print) I am going to have to relearn how to do it Amazon's way.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Work Ethic

What is your work ethic????  It might get that book written sooner. I admit that televison is my distraction from writing.  I can not write in the living room, where the telvision is staring at me.  I know it talks to me.  Maybe your distraction is something dirrerent.  The dishes calling you to wash them or those dust bunnies talkling to you.  Whatever it is we need to stop listening to them. I always plan on writing more than I do.  I came home from work yesterday, and had plans to write, then I ate and started flipping channels and then the time slipped by and I didn't write anything.  I think it all come down to one's work ethic.  Some have one and some don't. I think I am one of them that does not have a strong work ethic.  The fact that I want my book finished, is what motivates me.  I want to be a writer, so I write. http://iamwalkingwithgod.blogspot.com/

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. So that I it.  I am going to start writing and get this done. What are you working on??? This is a new year.....New Beginning.
