Sagging Middle

Yesterday was a rainy day, Thunder off in the distance,  I was ready to write.  Then I ran into a problem.

Chapter 6 Chapter 7 & chapter 8........I have no conflict and my Main Character is sitting there with nothing to do.

I need more conflict.......

It is 6:00AM and so not a morning person, but I woke up and decided that I need to solve this problem now, or I will not have anything to write this afternoon when I get home from Church.

So I am blogging early hoping a bolt of lightening will strike me so I can start writing again.

What do you do when you are stuck with no action or conflict in your writing?

Writing When Sick

I didn't feel good the last two days.  I slept a lot, but I was still thinking about my writing.  I did sit on the couch with my laptop and did some writing, though that I know that I need to do rewrite, but I did write.  Today I feel better and hopefully I will get more pages into the computer.  I started the rewrite of a novel that has been rejected 20 times and I will get it back on the market. WRITER'S UPDATE: REWRITES

 SO FAR THIS MONH...I HAVE WRITTEN 65 PAGES.... NOW TODAY....I AM GOING TO WRITE THOSE 65 PAGES WHY? I DON'T LIKE THE HOW THE BOOK STARTS I HAVE REWRITTEN THE BEGINNING...LIKE AT LEAST 4 TIMES.....SO HERE GOES #5 THIS IS WHY MY BOOK IS NOT PROGRESSING I KNOW I SHOULD KEEPING WRITING TO THE END....AND NOT REWRITE... BUT EACH TIME I WRITE THE NEW BEGINNING...I THINK THIS IS THE ONE SO TODAY IS OCTOBER 10TH. STARTING REWRITE #5 WISH ME LUCK
