Rainy Day, To Write or Binge Watch

The rain is coming down.  A good day to sleep in.  I checked the chicken, they are under the coop staying drying.  The 12 chicks are in there own coop with the heat lamp are fine.

So the question is:  Should I stay in my room and write or should I binge watch something?

It is thundering out here and am surprised that the internet is working.  Dish tv is not working because of the rain.  So I opted to write this morning.

Yesterday I watched 2 of the Thor movies.

I have been working on a non-fiction Christian Devotional.  I sadly have to admit that I started this book in 2016.  I have 90 Scriptures, that I have to type into the computer and then explain what the scriptures mean, add a prayer and add a daily confession.  It is time consuming.  I am happy to say that as of last night I finished.  Though it is a rough draft, the time consuming stuff is done.

Since I quit my job I have been working on this book in the morning, right when I get up, because I am more focused.  Then in the afternoon, I have been working on my fiction book.

I have found that if I write when I first get up then in the afternoon, I am not that focused.  I write in my room in the morning when I am more focused and then in the afternoon I move out to the living room and write on the computer while the tv is on.

Life does get in the way and sometimes writing takes a backseat.  I am just glad that I am making progress in my writing and blogging so I know I made the right decision to quit my job.

I will probably work on my fiction book today, either in my room or in front of the tv.

It is a rainy day, and a good reason to sit in front of the tv and do nothing, but I am going to try and write something today.

Write No Matter What

I woke up and felt like a truck hit me.  I still turned my computer on and started writing.  That is the only way the story is going to get written.  Do I feel like writing?  Nope.  Do if feel like Blogging?  Nope.  I write cause that is what I do.  So I poured me a soda and let the caffine take its effect.  I have to get ready for work in a bit, I blooged, I wrote a bit, so I am still going in the write direction. I write no matter what.  whether I feel like  it or not. Have a great day. http://sharonleejohnson.com/

Instead, I write.  I might not write 2,000 words everyday.  What I do everyday is, I write.  I write and it might only be 100 words, but I wrote something. I blog and I consider that writing.  I have people come to my blog everyday.  People are reading what I write, like you are reading what I have written, therefore I am a writer.   I know that it is lonely sometimes and you wonder why bother.  I write to live.  I can not write. You can be a self-published writer in less than a mont...
